Valentines Day for the books...

I had the best Valentines weekend ever!! Never mind that the weekend before valentines day he already brought me to my fave little chocolate shop and let me fill my own box of candy up...he was on a roll! He showed up at my house Friday after work with a bouquet of lilies in this beautiful blue vase. Lilies are my fave flower and blue is my fave color. He really does listen!! LOL. Then he had me get changed and off we went. He was taking me out to dinner in Santa Cruz and it was raining outside so when we reached Summit it started snowing!! It was so beautiful. We had dinner at this restaurant overlooking the ocean. It was fantastic. He took me to Starbucks after as a little treat and we went home to cuddle. Saturday Jesse had to work so I spent the day with my aunt. We drank coffee and talked, shopped around a bit and had lunch. It was great!! After spending time with her I got in gear to surprise Jesse when he got home. I layed candles out everywhere and slipped a little something on and was waiting for him in only the candle light. Boy was he surprised!! It was a very romantic evening. It was the best Valentines day I've ever had. Sunday we just laid around all day. It was storming outside so it was nice to just relax indoors where we were dry and warm!!

Love is in the air...

I'm in one of those fantastic lovey dovey moods today that make others want to puke. I don't know why? I can't help it. Maybe Friday the 13th is really a lucky day for me? I'm at work...so that's nothing great to celebrate, BUT...today was our work luncheon which means free lunch. Who can turn down a free lunch?! We had Wing Stop which I love...it was so good! For dessert Lilian made chocolate covered strawberries and they were to die for! I couldn't stop eating them they were so good! Plus tonight Jesse and I are celebrating Valentines day since he has to work tomorrow so I'm excited about that. I'm happy, I'm in love and it is just a great day! All those negative haters out there can't even bring me down today...my head is in the clouds and I'm hoping the day only continues to get better as I get off work and get to see my love. Can't wait to hug and kiss him...today is just GREAT! <3

Weekend wrap up of sorts...

My weekend was good and bad. Good because I got to spend time with friends and family, but bad because I was sick!! Friday night we had Hilary's birthday get together at Megan's. It was very low key, played some apples to apples, watched tv...was having a really good time just chatting with the girls. As the night went on though, I just felt worse and worse. Jesse and I ended up taking off around 11:30pm and I passed out as soon as I got home. Saturday morning I went to my moms to see Nicholas who happened to also be sick. Poor baby did not feel good at all, but he was so lovey dovey that I couldn't help but admit it warmed my heart. After that I went home to sneak in a nap before meeting the girls for a movie. Megan and I ended spending quite awhile waiting for Liz and Deanna to meet us at Oakridge. We had to just quickly eat at the food court and then went to see "He's Just Not That Into You". It was so good! All in all I think we each had a really good time. The next day Jesse and I pretty much spent the day in bed. Both of us really needed it!! We had plans, but with being sick and all we just decided it would be better to re-coup. We did make to to his parents for dinner with them, his brother and his g/f and Ray and Liz. We told his parents about moving in together and they were very happy for us. After that we went home again to get in bed. Stayed home Monday to rest up as well...now I'm feeling a little better, but would love the stuffiness to go away!

Hey, hey there!! So I used to have a blog on here and I absolutely loved the freedom of getting things off my mind without judgment, etc. Also, its a neat little record of past events. So here I go again on my own...for those out there reading this who don't know me you must realize that I am absolutely and completely random. One day I could blog about my totally awesome boyfriend and the next it could be about some driver that pissed me off on the road. Whatever I feel like basically! If you don't like it...don't read it. This is my space to say whatever I want/need to help clear my mind. I may go awhile without posting, but I hope to have something to say pretty frequently. In new news...Jesse (my totally awesome boyfriend) and I are moving in together this April. I am SOOO freaking excited! So the next few months will be planning, preparing, moving craziness. It will be a fun new adventure though and I am SO looking forward to it. Until next time...
